| The AB/ATB/SBA section is responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of the beam lines, downstream of the primary targets, that serve the North area of the SPS and the East area at the PS. It also exploits the application software for beam line control. The beam lines serve a variety of tests and experiments. The section is responsible for the liaison with the users of these facilities and it provides support for their installation and infrastructure. The section guides the activities of the EA operations in AB/OP and the EA instrumentation section in AB/BI. The section is also responsible for the exploitation of the CNGS facility and assists the in the maintenance and technical support of AD, ISOLDE experimental areas. | ||||||||||
